Profile
Émie Dubuc was called to the Quebec Bar in 2020. During her first year of study in civil law at the University of Ottawa, she obtained a research assistantship in constitutional law with the professor and former minister, Me Benoît Pelletier.
She worked on various files including Language Rights, Division of powers and Intergovernmental Affairs. She continues, among other things, to assist Me Pelletier in several files. In addition, she worked on the preparation of a text for publication for the Honourable Marie Deschamps.
Holder of a certificate in Business Administration from the ''Université du Québec en Outaouais'' (2013), Émie Dubuc obtained a degree in Civil Law, Co-op, from the University of Ottawa in 2019 and completed her articling at the Bar at the Office municipal d'habitation de Montréal in 2020.
Since 2022, she has been the author of an administrative law booklet on judicial review appeals with JurisClasseur Québec.
Relevant Experience
Carrying out of about thirty representation mandates before the Tribunal administratif du logement for cooperative housing corporations and housing NPOs as part of disputes regarding, among others, problems related to behaviour, public health and non-payment of rent.
Carrying out of various access to information mandates before the Commission d’accès à l’information.
